Raid gang 'hit' wrong home: gardai
FOUR armed men who burst into a home last night and tied up the occupants with cable ties may have hit the wrong house.
Gardai believe that the incident, which was over in minutes, may have been a case of mistaken identity.
The gang, one armed with a handgun and the others with hammers and knives, forced their way into the house on Brighton Avenue in Rathgar, Dublin, at 6.45pm.
They tied up two men. But within minutes they stopped and left. Nothing was taken and no one was injured in the incident.
