FALLEN tycoon Sean Quinn burst into tears at a public rally in his honour -- just days before he faces jail on contempt charges.

No one at the rally spoke of the impending judgment which could put him behind bars alongside his son, Sean Jnr.

More than 7,000 people turned up in the Co Cavan town of Ballyconnell, once the centre of his multi-billion euro empire.

He heard his daughter Ciara tell a cheering crowd that his family had declared war on Anglo Irish Bank. "And this is a war the Quinn family is going to win," she said.
