Projects' future set for decision

THE future of the Metro north and DART underground projects will be decided by the Government in the autumn.

Both projects would provide a huge boost for Dublin, transport chiefs told an Oireachtas committee yesterday.

National Transport Authority deputy chief executive Hugh Cregan said it was up to the Government to decide which projects the NTA would proceed with.
