Post-mortem on body of woman found in Mayo proves inconclusive

A post-mortem examination on the body of a woman discovered in Mayo on Sunday have proved inconclusive. Gardai say they are now awaiting the outcome of toxicology tests.
The dead woman who was named locally as Ann Murphy (49) was from the area. Her body was discovered in a house in Ballycurrin, near Glencorrib in south Mayo at around 4.30pm on Sunday when emergency services were called to the house.
A technical and forensic examination of the scene is continuing. A Garda Family Liason Officer has been appointed and an incident room established at Claremorris Garda Station.
