Post mortem 'inconclusive' on body of Irishman Morgan Savage (40) found on English beach

Pollice in the UK have released the name of the Irish man whose body was found in a kayak on an English beach last month.

Morgan Savage, 40, from Dublin, was found dead on Yaverland beach, on the Isle of Wight on September 11.

A post mortem, which carried out on September 24, was inconclusive.

The coroner is awaiting histology results, a police spokesperson said.

Yesterday, police said the man's next-of-kin had been located and informed of his death.

The man was last seen at Brighton Canoes, in Newhaven, East Sussex, at around 4pm on September 8, where he was described to have had an Irish accent.

The kayak was a yellow and black blow-up Sevylor Conrad.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said yesteday: "We would like to thank the public for all their assistance in sharing our appeal."
