Popular agony aunt dies, aged 70 after a short illness

AGONY aunt Patricia Redlich has died at the age of 70. She was best known in recent years for the hugely popular Dear Patricia column in the 'Sunday Independent'.

She passed away on Tuesday morning at her home in Seanpobal in the Rinn Gaelteacht after a short illness



From Old Parish, Dungarvan, Co Waterford, her body will be reposing at her home this evening from 4pm to 7pm. Removal is from her home at 9.15am tomorrow to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co Cork, for funeral service at 11am.



She is survived by her husband Val, son Alex, sisters Ann, Jane and Leslie and brother Paul. The family has asked for any donations to be made to Waterford Hospice or Cancer Care.
