Work on new National Rehabilitation Hospital to be completed as final funding secured

WORK on the new National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin is to be completed shortly after the last remaining funding was secured.
The work will see a replacement 120 bed facility installed on the hospital site in Dun Laoghaire.
Health Minister Leo Varadkar is due to announce €15m in funding for the completion of the works later today.
A number of vicitms of the Berkeley tragedy are currently being treated at the hospital.
Local Fine Gael TD Mary Mitchell O’Connor said the hospital provides “life changing treatment”.
“It is an extraordinary boost for the entire area,” she told independent.ie.
