Snap happy Paschal - the Minister for August
While his cabinet colleagues have scarpered to the countryside or sunnier climes, Paschal Donohoe has been run off his feet.
There have been photo shoots linked to trains, trams, automobiles and even horses over the past fortnight, with the Dublin Central TD managing to look alert and smiling through the all.
He has briefed the press on everything from road safety to the Luas cross-city project, Phoenix Park train tunnel and the latest tourism initiatives in the capital.
Of course, Mr Donohoe is considered a Fine Gael TD whose seat is under serious threat in the election, so keeping a high-profile is probably a good idea.
Yet he was slightly defensive when asked by the Irish Independent about his remarkable summer schedule.
"One of the things I am struck by is when ministers are away people say they are on holiday, but when I am at home doing my job I get asked why I am doing it," he said.
Planes are on the agenda today, when the minister will launch a new policy for aviation.
