Jonathan Bell suspended from DUP following series of allegations on BBC programme
Jonathan Bell has been suspended from the DUP, according to the BBC.
The Strangford MLA appeared on BBC NI last Thursday accusing DUP advisers of delaying his plans to close down the controversial Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.
The party denied his claims and leader Arlene Foster strongly criticised him over his handling of the matter.
The party reportedly discussed what action to take against the enterprise minister at the weekend.

It was also reported that Bell planned to sue Arlene Foster after the incident.
Since the programme, Foster has apologised for not capping the costs of the scheme but denied any intervention that would have prolonged the costly system.
