But are we really moving to seeing Enda Kenny drop the word ‘acting’ from his title or is more game playing ahead of the real talks between him and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin.

The Floating Voter analysed what is really going on a month after the people cast their ballots.

Podcast host Kevin Doyle was joined by INM Political Correspondent Niall O’Connor and guest contributor Fionnan Sheahan.

They questioned Mr Martin’s strategy of keeping a low-profile while the negotiations take place, pitched the ‘Rural Five’ against Shane Ross’s Independent Alliance in the battle to be kingmakers.

And they debated why the leaders of the two main parties are suddenly so excited about the idea of Dáil reform.
