Enda Kenny back in frame for top EU job
ENDA Kenny's name is back in the frame for a new job as head of the European Commission despite the strong claim of Jean-Claude Juncker.
European leaders will meet in Brussels today to review the results of the European elections. Deciding on who the next head of the EC will be, will be discussed at a dinner to be attended by Mr Kenny.
The Taoiseach has been linked to a Euro move for several months, despite insisting that he wants to lead Fine Gael into the next general election.
British Prime Minister David Cameron is not keen on the former Luxembourg PM, Mr Juncker. Reports from the UK said he wants to expand the list to include Finland's Jyrki Katainen, Poland's Donald Tusk and Mr Kenny.
