Almost a third of people will vote for Independent candidates in #GE2016 - poll

PUBLIC support for Independent candidates has dramatically increased, according to the latest opinion poll.
Almost a third (31pc) of the electorate is now saying they will vote for Independent candidates when they next go to the ballot box.
This is a jump of five points since the last opinion poll.
The Sunday Times/Behaviour & Attitude is bad news for Fianna Fáil and Sinn Fein, which both saw support drop.
Fianna Fáil is down three points to 18pc, while Sinn Fein is down two points to 17pc
Fine Gael is unchanged at 24, and Labour is down a point to 8pc. The Green Party is also down a point to 1pc.
