It was all smiles in Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin, when Sky Sports presenter Rachel Wyse paid a visit to some very brave patients.

Joined by some of her colleagues from Sky, including Brian Carney and Jamesie O'Connor, the Irish Independent columnist met with three-year-old Emily Rowan from Dublin and 14-month-old Aaron Quinless-O'Brien (pictured), from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.

Rachel has just been made an ambassador for the Children's Medical and Research Foundation at Crumlin and said she was "honoured" to be able to help children like little Aaron.
