Pilots embark on industrial action

AIRLINE pilots are set to stage work-to-rule industrial action from today following a row with Aer Lingus over work practices and roster changes.
Under this limited action, pilots will not work on rostered days off or annual leave days, the Irish Airline Pilots Association told the airline yesterday.
Pilots insisted that the move would not impact on services for the public.
The move comes despite pilots agreeing to the controversial cost-cutting plan to keep the airline carrier afloat.
