Perfect day for a good yarn

PERFECT holidays, perfect murders, cowboys, kittens and dinosaurs -- all the world was a story yesterday as the nation got stuck into a good yarn for World Book Day.
More than a million tokens were issued to pupils in primary schools all over the country, which can be redeemed against six specially produced booksl while for the first time, the National Council for the Blind has produced a Braille edition of one of the children's books.
Having a mother who taught adult literacy was enough to get author Cathy Kelly involved in the event, giving a special reading for fans in Easons on Dublin's O'Connell Street.
