Paisley moved out of intensive care

THE former First Minister of Northern Ireland, Ian Paisley, has been moved out of intensive care and into a cardiac unit. It's the first notable change in the 85-year-old's condition since he entered the Ulster Hospital on February 5 with heart trouble.
Huge cannabis haul hidden in fire logs
GARDAI have seized a large haul of cannabis resin concealed in pallets of fire logs. A van was intercepted at Martin's Cross, Dundalk, Co Louth. Detectives uncovered 240 kilos of cannabis, with an estimated street value of €1.44m. Officers arrested the 29-year-old van driver, who is from Navan, and he was being questioned last night at Dundalk garda station.
