We may not be currently basking in the same sunshine as our neighbours in London, but Ireland is set to expect some hot and sunny weather over the next few days.
A spokesperson for Met Eireann said that "from tomorrow on we can expect a few nice days."
Widespread showers are likely to develop this afternoon and become more heavy with a risk of thunderstorms this evening in the South and East.
Temperatures will be mild and humid, reaching between 18 and 22 degrees.
Tomorrow, however, will be the beginning of a spell of drier and brighter weather for a few days.
"More sun pushing through will see temperatures go up to 23 degrees, and there should be more of the same on Monday and Tuesday."
Monday will be mostly dry and sunny with temperatures set to hit 22 degrees, while Tuesday will be higher again.
Temperatures could soar to 24 degrees on Tuesday, before the rain returns on Wednesday.
"For the remainder of the week, there will be showers with some sun pushing through and temperatures will still be high in the low 20s."
