NRA's Michael Nolan appointed first chief executive of Transport Infrastructure Ireland

Michael Nolan has been appointed as the first chief executive of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), the merged state body made up of the National Roads Authority and Railway Procurement Agency.
Mr Nolan has worked for the NRA since 2002 and was head of major projects, overseeing delivery of the Newlands Cross upgrade and a number of motorway projects.
A graduate of NUI Galway and Trinity College, Dublin, he is a chartered engineer and a Fellow of Engineers Ireland.
