Norris to make "very important speech" this morning

Independent presidential candidate David Norris is to make what he has described as "a very important speech" in Dublin this morning.

The Trinity senator, who was once the frontrunner in the race for the Aras, saw his support halved, from 14% to 7%, in the latest opinion poll this weekend.







He posted his plans on Twitter last night, saying "I will be making a very important speech at the gates of Leinster House tomorrow at 10.15am".
