No-frill focus for travel show

Grainne Cunningham

HOLIDAYING for as little money as possible will be the no-frills focus of one of Ireland's biggest travel shows later this month.

The Holiday World Show Dublin 2011, at the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin, from January 28 to 30, will offer visitors lots of deals and discount holidays, the organisers have promised.

The show will provide expert advice to those seeking a well-earned escape from reality. Visitors can explore nine different "worlds" under one roof, including Africa and the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, the Caribbean, Europe, The Americas, and home holidays.

Expert Travel Clinics will include advice from travel journalist Eoghan Corry and industry experts.

Edmund Hourican, managing director of Business Exhibitions, organisers of Holiday World Show Dublin 2011, said: "We have much more to offer the exhibition visitor than ever before. This year's show is not a 'look-in' show but a buying show, with plenty of deals to be found."
