No hospital beds: 301 patients on trolleys nationwide

Hospitals around the country are still experiencing overcrowding, with 301 patients currently without a bed.
The latest Trolley Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows that there are currently 101 patients waiting on chairs and trolleys in Dublin emergency departments and 200 in the rest of the country.
The worst affected hospitals include Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda in Co Louth were 44 patients are awaiting admission and University College Hospital in Galway where 31 people are waiting for a bed.
Beaumont Hospital is the worst affected in Dublin, with 27 patients without a bed.
