Woman dies following road collision in Wexford

A woman has died after the car in which she was travelling collided with a truck.

The incident occurred at Ballyloughan on the Arklow Road in Gorey, Co Wexford, at approximately 3.20pm today.

The woman was the only occupant in the car and no other person was injured in the collision. The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene.

The stretch of road is closed at present to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision Investigation and diversions are in places.
