Watch: Truck crashes into level crossing causing delays for DART commuters
A truck has crashed into the level crossing at a DART station in Dublin this morning.
The incident occurred near Sydney Parade station in Dublin 4 at around 10am today.
The car carrier trailer travelled through the level crossing while it was closing.
Damage has been caused to the crossing at the Merrion Gates in Sandymount as a result.

A spokesperson for Irish Rail told independent.ie that the details of the vehicle involved have been caught on camera.
Full services have resumed but commuters have been warned to expect delays of about 15 minutes on this line.
