The teaser video - shot by web design firm Emagine - highlights the project which was created in collaboration with the A Lust for Life group.

Entitled ‘Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine’, which translates as ‘we live protected under each other’s shadow’, the piece aims to raise awareness around mental health issues.

The giant mural covers the front of the abandoned Ard Rí Hotel in Waterford - and also makes the opening of a new Pieta House centre in the city.

"Here's a teaser vid we shot for Joe Caslin, Waterford Walls, Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm and the A Lust For Life campaign over the weekend," reads the Emagine post.

"Proud and excited to be involved in such a well executed project for both the city of Waterford and mental health awareness in Ireland."

The Roscommon artist has been regularly involved in projects that evoke discussion around sensitive topics.

His mural installed in Dublin city centre as part of the Marriage Referendum 'Yes' campaign made the front page of the International New York Times.

The Claddagh Embrace mural depicted two men in an emotional embrace.
