Unsettled weather not ready to blow over - heavy rain, gusty winds to continue
Heavy rain and gusty winds are set to continue tomorrow, with further unsettled weather expected for the week.
Met Eireann Status Yellow warning remains in effect this evening as more wet and windy weather is forecast for tonight.
However, temperatures will remain mild with lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees.
The weather warning came into effect at 9am this morning for counties Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Sligo, but the rest of the country also experienced blustery, showery weather for the day.
Don't forget the rain jacket in the morning, as there will be further showers throughout much of tomorrow.
The wind is expected to ease off, however, with the strong and gusty southwesterly winds beginning to calm in the afternoon.
The winter weather is in full swing as the outlook for the rest of the week and next week is described as "unsettled".
