The death of tragic drowning victim Tyler Joyce (3) was "against every rule of nature", according to his local priest, as hundreds turned up to pay their last respects.

'Happy feet' Tyler (3) will be the first person out on the dance floor in heaven, Fr Eamann Cahill told his funeral.

Tyler died on Easter Sunday, along with his father, Sean 'Curly' Sweeney, when the pair drowned at a stream in Ashington Park close to the Royal Canal in North Dublin.

Sean was buried on Thursday.

At Tyler's funeral in the Church of the Annunciation, Finglas, parish priest Fr Cahill recalled baptising the little boy not too long ago.

"Tyler could never sit still. Before he was born, Pamela [his mother] told me, he was always kicking her. Happy feet.

"I hope there's dancing in heaven and if there's not, he'll start it.

"He'll be the first out on the floor," Fr Cahill said.

Mourners left the church to the sound of 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams - which was Tyler's favourite song.
