Two men arrested in connection with €34,000 drugs seizure

Two men have been arrested in connection with the seizure of €34,000 worth of heroin.

As part of 'Operation Thor', members of the North Central Divisional Drugs Unit stopped two men in the James Street area of Dublin this afternoon.

The men - both aged in their 30's - were searched and heroin with an estimated street value of up to €34,000 was seized.

They are are currently detained at Store Street Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
