Tributes have been pouring in for late teenager Nathan Reilly (16) today.
The teenager had been missing from Longford since Friday, and gardai said this morning that they had located his body.
Two appeals had been made over the weekend for the public's help in tracing him.
Last night and this morning, as the news of his death reached his local community, his friends have been posting tributes to the late teenager online.
One friend said: “Rest in peace Nathan you really will be missed by so many people! Hope you’re at peace now love you man.”
Another said: “Rip Nathan. You will be missed soo much. Rest in peace “
“Love you so so so much Nathan,” another said.
News of the teenager’s disappearance on Friday had sparked appeals over Twitter and ‘missing person’ websites.
Sadly, investigators found Nathan’s body and they are not looking for any further assistance.

Separately on Saturday, the body of missing student Sean Igoe (19) was recovered from the River Corrib in Galway.
Sean had been missing since Thursday.
His family have thanked the hundreds of volunteers who mounted a search for him.
