Treacy to lead the fashion stakes at Dublin Horse Show
More than 1,300 horses and ponies will trot, canter and gallop around the greens of Dublin's RDS this August for the 141st Dublin Horse Show
The festival will run from August 6–10 and will feature 125 competitions including the Aga Khan Cup.
Milliner Philip Treacy will cast a sartorial eye over the stylish attendees as a judge for the Blossom Hill Ladies Day competition.
Treacy will be joined by designer Brendan Courtney and broadcaster Angela Scanlon on Thursday 7.
The festival was launched by Minister for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring, broadcaster George Hook and model Roz Purcell yesterday.
"The Horse Show is an institution at this stage," Mr Ring said.
"I think most of the country have attended it – it's a highlight of the summer and will help all of us forget about Garth Brooks."
