Traffic tailbacks for commuters following crash at busy Dublin junction

Gardai attended the scene of a serious crash at a busy Dublin thoroughfare yesterday evening.
Emergency services also responded to the scene at the junction of South Circular Road and St John's Rd West.
At least two Dublin Fire Brigade engines and two ambulances rushed to the scene of the incident, which occurred shortly before 8.30pm.
Traffic approaching the junction from Kilmainham and Islandbridge was heavily congested as a result.
Evening commuters suffered major tailbacks, as far back as Heuston Station and on to the quays, while the area was cleared .
Rolling road closures were also put in place on the south Circular Road.
The crash was cleared at around 9.30pm - but commuters experienced some knock on delays.
There are no reports of any serious injuries.
