Three fire engines battled blaze at flat complex near Dublin's Phoenix Park

Three fire engines rushed to a fire at a flat complex in Dublin's north inner city yesterday evening.

Dublin Fire Brigade brought a turntable ladder to help quench the flames at O'Devaney Gardens, off the North Circular Road.

Units from Phibsborough and Dolphins Barn stations attended the scene of the blaze, close to Dublin's Phoenix Park.

Fire fighters responded to the callout shortly before 6pm and fought the blaze for over an hour.

In a separate incident, four fire engines and an ambulance attended a fire at an apartment complex in Adamstown, Co Dublin.

Everyone was evacuated from the block early yesterday afternoon.

There are no reports of any injuries in either incident.
