Teenage boy ‘critical’ after he was knocked off his bicycle in serious crash

A 15-year-old boy is in a critical condition after he was struck by a lorry on the Brians Well Road in the Dunmurry area of west Belfast.

It is believed the teenager was cycling on his bike when he was knocked down at around 4pm on Monday.

A Belfast Trust spokesperson said he was been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital where he is critically ill.

The Pembroke Loop Road and Brians Well Road are closed.

There is no further information at this time.
