Snap-happy salt-water crocodile gets a new home

James Hennessy, the founder of Reptile Village Zoo in Kilkenny, swims with one of two salt water crocodiles transferred from a New Zealand zoo.

They were flown half way around the world, journeying from Auckland to Sydney, then on to Abu Dhabi, London, and finally Dublin.

The salties are the largest reptile in the world, growing to more than 6m (20ft) and weighing more than 1,000kg. Staff at the zoo swim with the animals to get them used to human interaction.
