A young designer, who studied under Philip Treacy, is being tipped as the next big name in the world of millinery. Laura Kinsella was one of eight designers who represented Ireland at London Fashion Week and will now showcase her work at Brown Thomas on Dublin's Grafton Street.
She will be part of 66 Irish designers who are all taking part in the CREATE campaign, the largest ever showcase of Irish innovation and design on Ireland's premier shopping street.
Speaking to the Sunday Independent this weekend, Stephen Sealey, managing director of the Brown Thomas Group said it is part of the department store's initiative to bring theatre back into the world of retail. "Brown Thomas wants to encourage talent, develop future brands and bring an element of theatre and the unexpected to the store.
"The designers will be on hand to interact with customers."
The pop-ups are also in Cork, Limerick and Galway.
