A second innocent man has been wrongly identified as convicted paedophile Anthony Luckwill, gardaí have revealed
In an unusual move gardaí confirmed that a photo of a man taken of a man in Castleisland, Co Kerry and shared on Facebook is not Luckwill.
Last Month David Murray, who works for the Revenue Commissioners, said a photograph of him was linked to convicted sex offender Anthony Luckwill, who was reportedly spotted in the Kildare area.

Sergeant John O'Mahony of Castleisland Garda Station told Radio Kerry today that this latest case of mistaken identity has caused huge upset to the family of the man who suffers from mental health issues.
He said he met with the man and ascertained that he wasn't who people had accused him of being.
"Late last night I became aware that this had gone on Facebook. A lot of comments, about 50 or 60 comments, they were very nasty indeed. people should think twice about putting these comments on Facebook."
The story first came to light on the Maine Valley Post site where it was reported that the man was hounded in and around the town.
The site reported that the man was forced to take refuge in various buildings in the town.
