A Dublin shop is ramping up its efforts to track down a customer who purchased a winning ticket in November and who is now running out of time to collect their prize.

The €1m winning ticket for the Daily Million draw was purchased on Monday 9 November 2015 in the Bus Stop Kiosk in Nutgrove Shopping Centre, Rathfarnham.

However, time is ticking away for the mystery millionaire as Friday marks the last day that the prize can be collected from Lotto HQ.

It is not the first time that the shop has sold a ticket to a punter who never came forward to claim their money.

In 2012, a Lotto Plus 1 ticket was sold to someone who missed out on a €350,000 prize.

Meanwhile, the lucky winner of the €66m Euromillions jackpot has yet to make arrangements to pick up their windfall.

On Friday night, a mystery punter scooped Ireland's fourth-largest-ever lotto win in the Europe-wide draw.

The National Lotto confirmed that the winner made contact earlier this week, but further arrangements have yet to be made for the punters to collect their winnings.
