Registrations for Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle temporarily suspended due to technical problems
Cycling enthusiasts hoping to register for this year’s Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle have been encountering technical problems today.
Online registrations have been temporarily suspended due to the high volume of people hoping to register today.
In a statement, the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle committee said: “Online registrations for the 2015 Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle are temporarily suspended.”
“Due to the high volume of people continually refreshing their pages Eventmaster cannot get to the bottom of the technical issues.”
The committee said it will update its website home page and facebook page at 6pm this evening with information on online registration will open again.
“Please note that the system will not be open until tomorrow at the earliest,” the statement added.
“Once again we apologise for the inconvenience caused but wish to reassure everyone that there are still plenty of places available.”
The cycle, which will take place on July 5, is limited to 9,000 cyclists.
