Lessons to teach pupils at primary and secondary level to deal with cyberbullying are to be introduced as a 'core element' of the curriculum.
Teachers need to be brought up to speed with internet trends and more money is needed for parents who are not familiar with computer technology, according to a report seen by the Irish Independent.
An EU study has found Irish children were among the most likely in Europe to experience some form of cyber-bullying.
