The house is located on Victoria Street in the city.

A total of three laptops, two blackberry phones, a sum of cash and a BOSE stereo was taken from the property.

And 13 One Direction tickets were also stolen.

Inspector Rosie Thompson is asking people to be wary of unofficial sellers trying to sell them tickets for One Direction.

"I would urge anyone who has information on this burglary, or has been offered any of these items or the concert tickets by unofficial sellers to please contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111," she said.

The world's biggest boyband will play the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on October 20 and 21.
