Post office robbed after thieves removed bricks from back wall

A post office has been robbed in north Belfast.

It is believed the thieves gained entry after removing bricks from the back wall of the premises.

An undisclosed sum of cash was stolen.

The incident was reported to police just after 6am but is believed to have happened sometime overnight.

Detective Sergeant James Johnston has appealed for anyone with information to contact officers at Musgrave Street station on 101.
