A teenager sought for questioning by police in the UK in connection to allegations of rape and theft has been located in Ireland.
The PSNI have issued a statement this afternoon confirming that the 18-year-old man wanted for questioning by police in Lancashire in connection with rape, theft and assault allegations "has been located and detained in Co Antrim".
Detective Sergeant Melanie McGrory said: "A man wanted for questioning by Lancashire Police was located in Antrim this afternoon, Saturday 02 May. He is currently in custody and arrangements are being made to have him conveyed back to England."
The English national, who was charged last November in relation to the rape of a 13-year-old girl, is wanted by Lancashire Police after breaching his bail conditions.
The youth, who was described as extremely dangerous, is believed to have been in Ireland for the past several weeks, and his last known location before today's development was in Newbridge, Co Kildare.
He was wanted by Lancashire Police since February after a "breach of Crown Court bail conditions".
Lancashire Police previously appealed for the public's help in tracking down Humpage after he went missing last August.
Officers were interested in speaking to him over an alleged assault, but he disappeared before he could be charged.
