One person rescued after fire breaks out in Dublin overnight

One person has been rescued from a fire which broke out in a house in the Poppintree area of Dublin in the early hours of the morning.

The blaze broke out at about 1.45am.

Three units of Dublin Fire Brigade fought the flames and rescued one person from the house.

They did not require hospital treatment.

A fire brigade spokesman said the blaze was brought under control at 2.30am.
