Services have resumed after a vehicle has struck a bridge between Portmarnock and Malahide earlier today.
Trains operating to Malahide and Portmarnock were suspended following a bridge strike at Blackwood in Dublin.
Following the incident, Irish Rail issued a statement saying trains were operating to and from Clongriffin only.
Trains going northward to Dundalk and Drogheda were also affected.
Irish Rail sent someone to the scene and urged people to check their website for updates.
The line has now reopened but commuters have been warned to expect delays for up to 70 minutes for some trains.
