Mystery as con woman Julia’s ashes claimed

THE ashes of the shunned bigamist fraudster, Julia Holmes, have been removed from a Cork crematorium but mystery remains over who claimed her remains.
The fraudster who died in a suspected suicide pact with Thomas Ruttle, in Askeaton, Co Limerick last month, reportedly wanted to be buried beside her husband.
Her remains lay unclaimed until she was cremated. Mystery surrounded the fate of her ashes but the Sunday Independent has learned they have since been claimed
