This is the moment a vicious gang threatened a security man at knifepoint and attacked him, before escaping with a cash box.
The incident, which took less than 10 seconds, happened outside the An Post office in Bluebell, in the south-west of Dublin city, on Thursday at 3.35pm.
These CCTV images show the sequence of events when the security guard got out of the van and went to the back doors after it had been parked outside the post office.
As he walks with the cash box towards the office, two youths can be seen running at him from around the corner.
One raider can be seen brandishing a knife as his accomplice grabs the security man and shoves him towards the ground.
The security man puts the cash box down at the side of the path and the raider with the knife grabs it.
The two thugs then run back to a waiting stolen car, which was recovered by gardaí close to the scene a short time later.
At midnight that night, gardaí stopped a car on Francis Street in the south of the city.
"The car and driver were searched and a sum of money was discovered. A 19-year-old male was arrested," said a garda spokesman.
