Missing toddler (2) and father (61) found safe and well
GARDAI have cancelled a Child Rescue Ireland (CRI) alert after a missing two year old boy was found safe and well.
The little boy, from Ballybrack in South Dublin, was last seen in the company of his father (61) in Ballybrack, South Dublin, this afternoon.
A CRI alert was issued by gardai just before 7.30pm.
The alert was cancelled some 45 minutes later with gardai reporting that father and son had been located "safe and well" and thanked the public for their assistance.
As part of the CRI system, alerts have been placed on electronic displays on motorways across the country, and at transport hubs.
A CRI alert is issued by gardai when there is a reasonable belief there is an immediate and serious risk to the health and welfare of a child.
