A female cyclist had a lucky escape yesterday morning when she collided with a truck during rush-hour Dublin traffic.
The 28-year-old's bicycle was crushed by the vehicle but incredibly she escaped with minor head and arm injuries.
A spokesman for Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that they were called to the scene at the corner of Earlsfort Terrace and St Stephen's Green at 8am.
Three units, including a fire engine and an ambulance, attended the scene but the woman was "conscious and breathing" at the time.
