Man charged in connection with the murder of Wicklow mountains victim Patricia O'Connor
A man has been charged in connection with the murder of a woman whose dismembered remains were discovered in the Wicklow Mountains.
The 32-year-old suspect was charged at Bray Garda station this morning and will be brought before Tallaght District court later today.
The remains of Rathfarnham woman Patricia O'Connor were discovered in the Wicklow Mountains at various locations over the last week.
She was reported missing on June 2.
Part of her torso was discovered by a family group near Military Road on Saturday evening and a full scale garda investigation was launched.
A number of other remains were found by gardaí and members of the Defence Forces.
On Tuesday gardaí confirmed that a man in his 30s had been arrested.
