There are reports of major delays on the M50 northbound due to a car being abandoned in the left lane, just after the Red Cow (J9) exit.

Traffic is moving very slow and is particularly heavy from the J12 at Firhouse, due to a dumper truck shedding its load earlier.

The debris has since been removed and all lanes have been reopened, but there are tailbacks of up to 90 minutes are being reported

However, according to AA Roadwatch, southbound traffic is “moving well”.

Earlier, there was a collision on the M50 southbound at Tallaght which has since been cleared.

Meanwhile, motorists in Wexford are being urged to avoid the N25 Wexford/Rosslare Rd due to a crash near the Duncannon Rd.
