Irish Rail commuters delayed on morning service after train passenger falls ill
An Irish Rail train was delayed this morning after a passenger took ill on the cross-city commute.
The 7.12am Drogheda to Bray service stopped at Connolly station for a time when the passenger took ill.
An ambulance was called and the passenger was removed from the train and treated.
The train service resumed shortly afterwards and other commuters travelling south-bound experienced small delays.
It is not known what the condition of the ill passenger is at this time.
